This video is about my first week ride with the new tires - the Pirelli MT 21 Rallycross - on my Tenere 700.
Compared to the OEM Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, the MT21 is more noisy, much softer feel and inferior on street tarmac ride performances.
However, knobbies are for off-road, and the MT 21 is superior in every aspects in the dirt. The OEM tires are almost dangerous in mud and sand, pretty lame on gravel, compared to that, the MT 21 is just another level up.
Compared to the Mitas MC23 Rockrider, the MT 21 compound feels much softer and more friendly on tarmac. The road noise is in much lower pitch - better for the ears - and much less loud.
On off-road the same, it feels much more controllable and forgiving on mistakes. On gravel it feels a significant upgrade, on hard ground it has much more grip. In the sand I didn't feel much difference in performance.
There was no mud test yet.
There was no mud.
And anyway... I don't like mud.
😁
I used 2.1 Bar (cca. 30Psi) air pressure in both tires in the test ride.
Повторяем попытку...
