BBQ Chicken Tandoori Recipe (Air Fryer Method)

Welcome back to Fahid's Kitchen.
Today we are making BBQ Chicken Tandoori, but because we don't own a clay oven (Tandoor) and it’s too cold/much effort to grill outside, we are using the greatest invention of the 21st century: The Air Fryer.
This recipe is proof that you can get that charred, spicy, restaurant-style flavor without lighting a fire or dirtying a single pan. It’s perfect for when you want "fancy" Desi food but your energy levels are at zero.
Why this method wins:
• The Speed: It cooks in 25 minutes.
• The Cleanup: Put down a liner, throw it away after. Zero dishes.
• The Char: The air fryer blasts it with heat so you get those crispy burnt bits we all love.
The "Ingredients":
• Chicken: Legs or quarters work best. Score them (cut slits) so the flavor goes inside.
• Masalas: Salt, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric, Ginger/Garlic Paste, Tandoori Masala and SECRET MASALA (see the video!)
• Lemon Juice: For that tang.
• Oil: Just a bit!
The Lazy Method:
1. Marinate: Mix everything in a bowl. Rub it on the chicken like you love it.
2. Load: Toss it in the air fryer basket. Don't stack them!
3. Cook: Blast it at 400°F (200°C) for 25m
4. Flip: Halfway through add some of the remaining masala from the bowl!
5. Smoke Hack (Optional): If you want real BBQ flavor, light a piece of coal and do the smoke trick. If that sounds like a fire hazard, just eat it as is.
