"snowing in las vegas" (Extreme Demon) by Wyntaee & rply | Geometry Dash 2.2

Описание: I've uploaded several cool levels by Wyntaee and rply separately, and they've all had very unique visuals in terms of designs and art, so it's interesting to see them collaborate now. This level proves that they work very well together, as there is no perceived difference in quality from part to part to my eyes. If I didn't know it was a collaboration, I'd think it was a solo level. It's important to mention the song used, which is quite different from what you normally hear in Geometry Dash levels. These creators are no strangers to that given their previous works, but it's actually available on Newgrounds this time, which is great. Taking the song's name and lyrics into account, they've added snow art and/or effects in most parts. However, it's not your typical winter level, given how dark it looks as a whole, with dark beige and orange hues taking up a lot of space. This combination of the brighter snow on top of mostly darker colors certainly fits the atmosphere of the song. From 1:18 it starts changing, though, with the colors being inverted from 1:35, making for an effective climax. I really like how the buildup from the former timestamp is handled, as different block designs and decorations start mixing together on screen as the song gets more and more intense.

With this being an Extreme Demon, I can't comment much on the gameplay, but I really like how it synchronizes to the song on video. The repeating mini wave sections are perhaps the most notable gameplay-wise after watching this, which definitely requires some endurance, so that could decide whether someone skilled enough wants to beat this or not. However, the reason I mention these is because while repetitive, they are a good example of the aforementioned synchronization to the song, and it's handled very well in my opinion. I really like how the wave pattern is slightly shifted at times, showing careful consideration for the song. Also, the visuals surrounding it are still interesting due to the snow effects and some small art inside the structures here and there. All in all, this is a really cool, unique, and consistent Extreme Demon by Wyntaee and rply. Special thanks to ivyteal for providing the footage.
