"multi arm" (Extreme Demon) by SnowEye | Geometry Dash 2.2

Описание: I'm typically not particularly interested in layouts personally, but for this level some friends recommended I watch the original layout a few months ago. In this case, I'm glad I did since it's really unique in gameplay, especially in how it synchronizes to the song by Frums. That made it pretty difficult to imagine how SnowEye would execute the final visuals for the decorated version, but now I'd say he definitely handled it well. There are a lot of rough but cool designs that fit nicely with the song's atmosphere. Some of them do look a bit messy if you pause, but it never feels too messy in motion I'd say, with the balance between order and messiness feeling just right. In the most intense parts of the song, some interesting effects are added in the custom background that mesh well with the aforementioned designs. My personal favorite part is probably the one at 3:57 because of how it mixes more realistic art in the middle with the crazy effects above and below. This part may feel a bit out of place in the level overall, but it does work to the song as it's a bit calmer here.

In terms of difficulty and enjoyability, as this is an Extreme Demon, I won't say much on that. (Special thanks to Hypno and also SnowEye for providing recordings for me to showcase this.) It will definitely be interesting to see what players think of this when it's gotten some more completions. One very cool thing to note is that SnowEye both created this and verified it entirely himself, which is always awesome to see for an Extreme Demon. Being this talented both at creating and playing is a rarity, and hopefully it will be rewarded with a well-deserved high rating soon!
