Today I take a walk around Ubud and eat some nasi padang food with its lovely spicy green sauce which comes at a very affordable price.
We meet a young man on his way to a ceremony who explains to us the offering he is carrying to his home.
I give a quick tour of my rooftop Bali bachelor pad that costs only $300 a month to live in. This small studio comes with hot water, fast wifi, balcony, fish pond, is only a five minute walk from Ubud central, and is part of a lovely Balinese family's home.
Rain pours down today and I get caught it in before a nice shop assistant welcomes me into his store and also gives me tissues to clean my camera.
