美丽而神秘的鱼尾狮故事，演绎出一曲爱的颂歌。乐曲共分三个乐章：(一)哀民求佑、(二)怒海风暴、(三)情系南洋。此曲应新加坡华乐团委约而作，一九九九年十一月廿八日假维多利亚音乐厅首演。

This love ode is a story of the beautiful and mysterious Merlion. It comprise of three movements : I. Seek Blessings; II. Raging Sea; and III. Nanyang's Affection. This music piece was commissioned by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and premiered performance on 28 November 1999 at Victoria Concert Hall.
