Cheaper to Get In Than to Park?? | Eagles Regular Season Finale

Описание: Wrapped up the regular season with a trip Lincoln Financial Field to watch the Eagles take on Washington… aka the Commanders… aka the Washington Identity Crisis. At this point I’m convinced they spin a wheel every offseason to decide the name.

First things first — parking. I break down how to save money when heading to South Philly because these lots are charging “historic landmark” prices. I’m not exaggerating when I say at the time of filming it basically cost the same to PARK as it did to GET INTO THE GAME. For that price, my car better get a souvenir cup and access to the tailgate.

We walked through the lots, saw some very brave Washington fans roaming around, and roasted our friend who decided to skip the game. I may or may not have threatened to christen his mailbox. Allegedly.

Met up with some friends to talk game predictions, playoff scenarios, and somehow spiraled into a discussion about the one-year anniversary of WWE Raw on Netflix and who might return. Because nothing screams “serious football analysis” like fantasy booking wrestling returns.

Got to my semi-fancy seats just in time for intros. Washington lines up for a field goal late in the first… DOINK. Off the post. The loudest “HAHA” I’ve ever heard in my life. Then Grant Calcaterra puts the Birds on the board early in the second and we’re feeling unstoppable. I check the Bears-Lions score for playoff seeding implications like I’m on the coaching staff, then proceed to take out a second mortgage for a halftime snack.

Halfway through the third, the Birds grab the lead again… and that’s when the football gods said, “That’s enough happiness.” Washington drops two touchdowns in the fourth, the offense goes cold, and suddenly we’re all doing that silent stare into space as the clock hits zero.

We head back to the car to break down what went wrong, who we’ll see in the Wild Card round, and reflect on a day that included elite vibes, elite parking prices, a beautiful doink, and emotional damage.

Just another totally calm, rational, and financially responsible afternoon at The Linc. 🦅
