Chloe was diagnosed with osteofibrous dysplasia, a rare benign tumor, that was found in her right shinbone. “Her leg was very bowed, and it was starting to affect her walk,” says her father, Gabe.
Scottish Rite orthopedic surgeons removed about seven centimeters of Chloe’s tibia, reconstructed the bone and attached the TRUE/LOK™ External Fixation System to her leg to stabilize the bone as it heals. “We were excited to see her run again,” says Lucy, her mother.
