Описание: As I mentioned in last week's interview, I really love the @A24 series of Directors interviewing Directors and others where Actors interview other Actors, especially when they've worked together before. I wanted to amplify my local Houston filmmaker friends and started recording interviews before realizing I do not want to create a podcast!!! But I want to share the interviews I got so far because these women share insights and wisdom and showcase how we all tackle directing in a different way.

Here, I talk with @shahdshahroor of @honeyblackbirdfilms about her being an up-and-coming director, being inspired by @avaduvernay, making meaningful and purposeful films, the tradeoffs of getting into the larger industry, creative freedom, authentic representation in film and tv, knowing your why, and how faith plays into both her work and her process.
