As Ramadan is approaching, 🌙I’ve been preparing in small and simple ways — organizing my kitchen, washing jars, and preparing some freezer meals to make our days a little easier.
These little steps help me feel more ready and focused on what truly matters — faith, gratitude, and connection with Allah.

❄️ Freezer-Friendly Meals
🛒 Ingredients:
1. 1 kg chicken breast
2. Spring rolls
3. 1 and a half cups cabbage (shredded)
4. 1 cup carrots (grated)
5. 1 and a half green bell peppers (shredded)
6. Salt (to taste)
7. 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
8. 2 tablespoons ground coriander
9. 1 and a half teaspoons garlic powder
10. Fresh coriander (chopped)
11. Oil (for frying)

👩🍳 Directions:
1. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and fry gently in a pan until cooked and slightly golden.
2. Add the vegetables and fry for a few minutes.
3. Add all the spices and mix well. Cook together for a short while.
4. Remove from heat and let the ingredients cool completely. 5. Place some of the ingredients on a spring roll, fold the sides in and roll up tightly. Seal the edge with a little water.
6. Freeze until completely firm.
7. Transfer to zip-top bags for storage.
❄️ Fry straight from frozen or air fry until golden and crispy.
🛒 Ingredients:
1. 1 kg ground beef
2. ½ kg cabbage (finely chopped)
3. Onion (as needed, finely chopped)
4. 1½ tsp salt
5. 2 tbsp ground coriander
6. 1½ tsp garlic powder
7. Fresh cilantro (as needed, chopped)
8. Ready-made dumpling wrappers (mantu dough)

👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Sauté the ground beef in a pan until fully cooked.
2. Add chopped onion and cabbage, cook together until slightly soft.
3. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
4. Add salt, ground coriander, garlic powder, and fresh cilantro. Mix well.
5. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each wrapper.
6. Fold and shape into manto as desired.
7. Arrange on trays without touching each other.
8. Freeze until fully firm.
9. Transfer into ziplock bags for storage.
❄️ Steam directly from frozen until fully cooked and soft.
🛒 Ingredients:
1. ½ kg ground beef
2. 2 onions (finely chopped)
3. Fresh cilantro (a little, chopped)
4. 1 tsp salt
5. 1 tsp red chili powder
6. 2 tbsp ground coriander
7. A little oil
8. 1½ tsp garlic powder
9. 4 cloves garlic (crushed)

👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients into a large bowl.
2. Mix everything together very well until fully combined.
3. Shape the mixture into kofta (round, oval, or long shapes as desired).
4. Arrange them on trays without touching each other.
5. Freeze until fully firm.
6. Transfer into ziplock bags for storage.
❄️ Cook directly from frozen by frying, baking, or air frying until fully cooked.
