The WEC 6 Hours of 2025 has just come to an end, with the great sound of the Hypercars still in my head. The weekend overall has been really enjoyable, but during the whole event I had just one very big disappointment: the new sound restriction on the LM GT3 cars
Since the inaugural round of the 2025 World Endurance Championship season in Qatar, the new GT class which made its debut last year has had a drastic change in the exhaust sounds, with most of the cars being muffled, with most of the cars sounding almost muted
A part from the Porsche 992, which was already restricted last year, the various Ford Mustang, Corvette Z06 and so on has been heavily limited, taking away their distinctive sound
What is you opinion about that?
