WEC 6H of Imola 2025, Endurance Race Weekend Highlights, Ferrari 499P LMH, Valkyrie, Valentino Rossi

Описание: I attended the WEC 6h of Imola 2025, which took place from April 18 to 20 in Italy. The video you see is a Maxi Highlights of these 3 days, culminating with the race on Sunday. Congratulations to the Ferrari 499p LMH number 51 crew, comprising Giovinazzi, Pier Guidi & Calado, who maintained the lead of the race by winning after completing 212 laps. In second place, just 8.490 seconds behind, were the direct rivals for the BMW M Hybrid V8, number 20 of Team WRT, composed of drivers Rast, Frijns, and Van Der Linde. The third step of the podium for the Alpine A424 LMDh number 36, driven by Gounon, Makowiecki, and Schumacher, is impressive, as all three cars were very close, with only 2 seconds separating first and third place after six hours of racing. The LMGT3 category was won by the Porsche 911 GT3 R number 39 of Manthey 1ST Phorm, driven by Hardwick, Pera, and Letz, who crossed the finish line after completing 193 laps and beating their direct rivals by just 0.316 seconds. Second, by a hair's breadth, was the BMW M4 GT3 EVO number 46, driven by Valentino Rossi, Harthy, and Van Der Linde and third place on the podium went to the Lexus RC F LM GT3 number 78 of Akkodis ASP Team, driven by Robin, Gehrsitz, and Masson. A side note for the large crowd: 65,000 visitors attended the race weekend, down slightly compared to the previous year. Having kept the exact dates as 2024 without taking the Easter weekend into account, I think it was not an entirely successful choice. Enjoy! 😉

Ho assistito al lungo weekend del WEC 6H di Imola 2025, andato in scena dal 18 al 20 Aprile in Italia. Il video che vedete è un Maxi Highlights di questi 3 giorni culminati con la gara nella giornata di Domenica. Complimenti alla Ferrari 499P LMH numero 51 dell'equipaggio Giovinazzi/Pier Guidi/Calado che ha mantenuto il comando della gara vincendo dopo aver percorso 212 giri. Al secondo posto, distaccati di soli +8.490 secondi, i diretti rivali per della BMW M Hybrid V8 numero 20 del Team WRT composto dai piloti Rast/Frijns/Van Der Linde. Terzo gradino del podio per l'Alpine A424 LMDh numero 36 guidata da Gounon/Makowiecki & Schumacher. Impressionante constatare come tutte e tre le vetture fossero vicinissime, solamente 12 secondi tra il primo ed il terzo, dopo 6 ore di gara. A vincere la categoria LMGT3 è stata la Porsche 911 GT3 R numero 39 del Manthey 1st Phorml guidata dai piloti Hardwick/Pera/Letz tagliando il traguardo dopo aver percorso 193 giri e vincendo sui diretti rivali di soli 0.316 decimi. Seconda, per pochissimo, la BMW M4 GT3 EVO numero 46 guidata da Valentino Rossi/Harthy/Van Der Linde e terzo posto sul gradino del podio per la Lexus RC F LMGT3 numero 78 di Akkodis ASP Team guidata da Robin/Gehrsitz/Masson. Una nota a margine per il tanto pubblico, 65.000 visitatori durante il weekend di gara, ma in calo rispetto all'anno precedente. Aver mantenuto le stesse date del 2024 non tenendo conto del weekend di Pasqua penso non sia stata una scelta completamente azzeccata. Buona visione! 😉
