The lower abs as you have figured out can be difficult to reveal so I'm going to help you guys by giving you the tips and correct exercise that will get the lower abs to show so that you can see the full 6 pack that you want to get.
Exercises
So we’ll start with the exercises first and the only two exercises you need to develop the lower abs are going to be the reverse crunch and the leg raise. The key is making sure you performing them correctly according to where you fitness level and progressing as you get better.
Progression 1- lying on the floor
Progression 2- incline bench
Progression 3- Hanging
Progression 4- Weighted
Other Tips:
Clean up your diet:
If your having trouble getting your lower abs to show outside of the exercises your diet has to be the number one thing that needs focus. Your going to have to burn more fat which means your going need to eat in a way that ensures you’ll be in a caloric deficit to speed up your metabolism and burn fat more efficiently. The key things you need to do in your diet to achieve this:
Take Out heavily processed foods like your white grains, unhealthy snack bars and chips and eat more plant based and less processed options like whole grains, fruits, sweet potatoes and vegetables
Eat at least .6-.8 grams of protein per day from complete protein sources so the muscle can develop
Drink a lot of water
Allow yourself a 1-2 cheat meals a week
Do 3-4 hiit cardio sessions a week:
HIIT cardio is so effective because it burns a lot of calories not just during your session but up to 24-36 hrs. after helping you burn more overall calories to help speed up your metabolism so you burn fat more efficiently.
