Improve Thoracic Extension Strength and Mobility
Thoracic extension mobility is a sought after quality for postural purposes. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone needs more thoracic extension mobility. But it generally is a good idea to build thoracic spine strength and endurance in the range of motion you are currently capable of achieving. No need to force thoracic extension. Thoracic extension will improve gradually as you expose yourself to thoracic extension positions cumulatively over time and strengthen in the range your are capable. The sphinx exercise, eventually progressed toward swimmers is a great progression for thoracic extension strength.
