Trains around Washington D.C.! CSX, VRE, and Amtrak in the Nations Capitol.

On April 10, I decided to ride VRE up to D.C. for the annual blooming of the Cherry Blossoms. They were beautiful, and the weather was absolutely perfect. While in the area, I decided to grab a few shots I'd been wanting for a while around the area, and grabbed video of a few as well.
Early in the morning, we're seen watching over the Potomac River from the north side of Long Bridge, where we catch a southbound manifest meeting a northbound VRE. Later on, we are a few hundred feet north where another VRE, and a late Crescent cross the tidal basin.
After walking the basin, I headed back over to the same shot for a couple of trains, including intermodal Q031 featuring a BNSF unit trailing.
While at L'Enfant Plaza VRE, we see manifest Q416 roll north, and a couple of southbound Amtrak's head down the line before my ride home arrived. I caught train P303 home, and you'll enjoy some sights from along the way, all the way down to Fredericksburg.
