3 day 2 night paddle on the Suwannee scenic river trail. Stayed at 2 of the river access camps, Woods Ferry and Holton Creek. These camps have electric, fans, potable water and showers. The screened in enclosures are absolutely incredible and made camping in Florida in the summer enjoyable.
If you have not paddled this river, you need to! It’s so quiet and serene. This paddle was done in extremely high water. Lots of pretty was covered up by water. In lower water conditions there would be lots more sandy banks and more limestone bluffs exposed. I plan to go back and get video of this segment during low water to see how much it evolves.
