Описание: SOLD - 1982 Mercedes W123 200 4dr - The Mercedes W123 Series of cars, sold from 1976 to 1985, was the most successful selling Mercedes range ever with 2.7 million sold worldwide. Saloons, Estates and Coupe's were offered with both petrol and diesel engines.
Previously supplied by ourselves, our car is a 1982 Mercedes 200 4dr manual finished in desirable China Blue with parchment cloth upholstery and has covered just 60,500 miles from new by three local owners and can only be described as immaculate, both inside and out.
According to the original data card, which is still with the car, factory options included power assisted steering, central locking, green heat insulating glass and a passenger door mirror.
The original clear vinyl book pack is with the car complete with all books, the aforementioned data card and the maintenance book with service history from 847 to 60,102 miles in 2017. Unusually, we have 32 MOT certificates with the car and numerous old tax discs verifying just how special this car is.
I'd argue this car is one of the best original cars in the UK and needs to be seen to be appreciated fully. Only very minor imperfections were previously addressed by our in house body shop over 3 years ago to a standard indistinguishable from new. The interior is totally original and unmarked, all in all a lovely car to enjoy or show.
SOLD - On the road the car drives as good as it looks, it certainly doesn’t feel almost 40 years old! The performance is smooth rather than dynamic although when you get it rolling it cruises comfortably at high speed. The steering is dead straight ahead, the power assistance certainly a bonus, and the brakes pull up well with no judder whatsoever.
