I know this sounds weird as Finland is known to be a very expensive country. But there is an exception.
Our mini cruises are very affordable.
Also the best (and biggest) cruise ships in the world are built in Finland.

Today we travel with little bit older lady. And I don't mean only myself who happened to celebrate 50th birthday on this cruise, but the M/S Silja Serenade, a ship we were on board of. She was born in Turku, Finland, in 1990 and is owned by Tallink Silja.

We traveled from Helsinki to Stockholm and back with her. That is her regular route.
The cruise was 41 hours and we had 6 hours to visit the city of Stockholm.
Or would've have as we never got to the city (more about that on the video).

We don't actually call these ships as cruise ships, but ferries. We use these ferries to get from Finland to Sweden or Estonia. These are regular route ferries, but you can also take that mini cruise. Foreigners are often confused by the word ferry and are surprised to see how big these ships are and all the services on board (shops, restaurants, spas...)
