Family Camping Vlog | Bad Beds & Tantrums

This is Chapter One - From packing the car and trailer, driving to Wales, pitching our tent, and filling it with our furniture and camping gear.
How hard can it be, you may ask? "Very" is the answer.

With the weather 'supposedly' being on our side, we thought this would be a video that would be interesting and a great example of how much fun and how easy camping would be - A great substitute for holidaying abroad and even camping. But no.. It did not turn out to be that way.
With there being so many little calamities, we thought any budding campers may want to watch our first two days of mishaps and fun, thus allowing them to start saving for a holiday abroad instead of a canvas shelter...
Day 1
We started out well, a great big trailer. Easy to pack, and even if it did cost £400 to hire, Scott still thought it would be worth the money? And yes, it was easy to pack, but as it was the size of a horsebox, it should have been.
Once we got everything in, we set off after two attempts after Scott left the handbrake on the trailer in the 'position', scarring the driveway..
Got approx. 5 miles from the house and realised that we had forgotten to pack our new Intex Inflatable sofa that we wanted to review for our honest product review video -    • Family Camping | Our BEST Tent Setup Yet! ...  
So, we turned around at the next roundabout (which we had to because Scott could not reverse with a trailer). Got back to the street near our house and let Scott run up to collect from the garage, only for him to find out that we had packed it - Still it kept him fit and gave us a laugh watching him run :-)
We set off again with Google taking us in a different direction (just to annoy Scott, we think). Got another 5 miles to have people beeping at us, only to find that the trailer door had opened. Disaster, which we found to be even worse when we arrived at North Wales as we had lost our cooker, towels, and various other camping gear. If anyone goes up the A470 and finds anything, we would appreciate its return..
It is actually a long trip from South Wales to North Wales, probably the longest we had done. With the exception of some 'Are we There yet?' screams coming from Amy, and Google sending us a WRC Rally through parts of Snowdonia. It was a relatively good journey, though.
As we started nearing our destination, the clouds started to appear, along with some slight moans from Scott. As we got within 15 minutes of our destination, the rain started, but fortunately for us and our ears (Scott would never have stopped, if it carried on), it started to die down.
Arrived at Rhos Y Foel Campsite - Yay... Pitching the tent - It is never fun. For us, this took approx. 4 hrs by the time we got the tent up, beds assembled and inflated. Oh, and the Intex Sofa that had cost us time also took a while to inflate, wearing us both out. But when it is done, it is great - a luxurious haven that we love.
Only as highlighted, we had lost the griddle that had fallen out the back of the trainer, so we had nothing to cook on. We did have a foldable Eurohike BBQ, so off we set to the local town Pwllheli to purchase some BBQ charcoal meats and bits. Also took Roxy to the beach as she had been such a well-behaved dog during the journey - and then it started to rain, and Scott started to moan. But it had been a good day. We even got back to find it had stopped raining, and it allowed me to use the BBQ and set fire to the grass.
That was it day over, marked with a glass or two of wine.
Day two - Sun!!! We set off to Black Rock Sands and the River Dwyfor for a walk. It was actually a great day and so rare for us to see it in the sun. Was this going to be a good sign for the rest of the week?
