For Stephen's Christmas present, we stayed a night at the Sidings Hotel in York. Formerly a goods shed, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are in repurposed themed ex-railway coaches. Some of the old signage and heating controls are still in place and who wouldn't want to pull the emergency brake and not get in trouble?
