we head to the Sidings Hotel just north of York where we stayed at the Sidings Hotel from the 16/12/24 until 18/12/24.
unfortunately being mid December, the nights are long and the days are short, however there are floodlights.
we see east coast expresses in the form of LNER Azumas and Transpennine 800 class units, and freight of various types hauled by classes 56, 60, 66 and 70 for GBRF, DB Schenker, Colas, Freightliner and DRS. we also get an extra with LSL's class 43 hauled blue Pullman set heading to Edinburgh and back
