Описание: [00:00:00] After preliminary prayer Lama Zopa Rinpoche starts an oral transmission of “Unrevealed line of the Shakyas.”

[00:12:17] Every animal has an enemy wherever they are due to karma. Rinpoche shares stories illustrating the incredible karma of how animals get killed and eaten by other animals. Rinpoche also describes the reasons for being born as pretas and their specific sufferings.

[01:03:20] Rinpoche tells which mantras and practices can be used to help pretas.

[01:09:20] Rinpoche shares a story of a lady possessed by a naga spirit who came to him during a retreat in Taiwan asking for help.

[01:24:26] Rinpoche describes the benefits of Yeshe Kadra practice and mantra for blessing water and other substances for helping pretas satiate their hunger and thirst.The main reason to practice giving food and water to pretas (hungry ghosts) is because of their emergency and unimaginable suffering, not just to collect merit for oneself. Buddha gave special mantras to bless water to appear as oceans of nectar to liberate pretas.

[01:30:55] It is not enough to just spend life doing prayers or meditation. This precious human life must be made most meaningful by meditating on and actualizing the stages of the path - guru devotion, renunciation, bodhicitta, right view. Then one can really benefit sentient beings.

[01:58:50] Rinpoche continues the oral transmission of “Unrevealed line of the Shakyas.”

[02:02:00] You can see why we need to put in so much effort and endure hardships to practice Dharma. We must hurry to gain realizations—they don’t come easily or just by praying. This isn’t just for our own happiness, but to bring every kind of happiness to each and every one of the numberless sentient beings.

[02:13:45] Rinpoche continues the oral transmission of Arya Sangatha Sutra.
