Here is my GBA-style cover of Stand Proud, the first opening theme of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders.


“Stand Proud” is performed by Jin Hashimoto and served as the opening theme for the first half of Stardust Crusaders. With its powerful vocals, triumphant melody, and driving instrumentation, the song reflects Jotaro Kujo’s resolve as he joins Joseph Joestar, Avdol, Kakyoin, and Polnareff on their journey across the world to defeat DIO. The opening animation famously references classic JoJo poses, Stand abilities, and foreshadowing for later battles, making it one of the most iconic OPs in the series.


JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, the third part of Hirohiko Araki’s legendary saga, follows Jotaro’s quest to save his mother from DIO’s curse by traveling from Japan to Egypt. Its introduction of Stands permanently changed the direction of the series and became one of its most defining features.


This cover was made using the soundfont of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Game Boy Advance. I used AnvilStudio and FEBuilder to create this arrangement. The track is fully usable in potential ROM hacks.
