In this video we see a timelapse on the Craigieburn line recorded on Openrails. We take a ride on a Metro Trains Melbourne Comeng EMU, running a stopping all stations service from Flinders Street station to Broadmeadows in the afternoon. Along the way we also see various Metro and V/Line trains on their way to Melbourne.
Being set in the 1950's the route depicts a time when electric train services still terminated at Broadmeadows. Electrification was extended from Broadmeadows to Craigieburn in 2007.
