We took a longer day trip, to see around the "local area".
It was a round trip of over 500 km, and seen in retrospect, so this should have been done over 3 days. But the boys and my wife, got to visit many new places. Then we will rather have new trips out on the Møre coast on the next occasion.

We drove from Melhus (2 miles south of Trondheim on the E6).
The trip went E6 up to Oppdal. Then west down Gråura, down to Sunndalsøra.
Just before Sunndalsøra, we stopped and went up to the waterfall Vinnu. It has a total drop of about 860 meters. Which makes it Europe's longest waterfall.
The trip then continued from Sunndalsøra, towards Molde. In Molde there was a shop round, and some relaxation.
Then the trip continued to Kristiansund. There was another shop round and some dinner.
You should actually put in an overnight stay in Molde, and drive the trip out to Altlanterhavsveien. But it will be on a later occasion!
The trip then went back from Kristiansund, and the fastest way home to Trøndelag. By ferry to Halsa, Hemneskjølen and Orkanger ..
This will be a great trip for those who have not seen this part of the country! But it is recommended to take at least one night, preferably 2! There is a lot to see in this area!

Vi tok en lengre dagstur, for å få sett oss rundt i "nærområdet".
Det ble en rundtur på over 50 mil, og sett i ettertid, så burdet dette vært gjort over 3 dager i stede. Men gutta og kona, fikk vært innom mange nye plasser. Så får vi heller få lagt nye turer ut på Møre kysten ved neste anledning.

Vi kjørte fra Melhus ( 2 mil sør for Trondheim på E6 ).
Turen gikk E6 opp til Oppdal. Så vestover ned Gråura, ned til Sunndalsøra.
Rett før Sunndalsøra, så stoppet vi og gikk opp til fossen Vinnu. Den har et totalt fall på ca 860 meter. Noe som gjør den til Europas lengste fossefall.
Turen gikk så videre fra Sunndalsøra, mot Molde. I Molde så ble det en butikk runde, og litt avslapping.
Så gikk turen videre til Kristiansund. Der ble det nok en butikk runde og litt middag.
Man burde egentlig lagt inn en overnatting i Molde, og kjørt turen ut til Altlanterhavsveien. Men det får bli ved en senere anledning!
Turen gikk så tilbake fra Kristiansund, og raskeste vei hjem til Trøndelag. Med ferje til Halsa, hemneskjølen og Orkanger..
Dette vil være en kjempe fin tur for den som ikke har fått med seg denne delen av landet! Men anbefales å ta minst en overnatting, helst 2! Det er mye som er vært å få med seg i dette område!

Working on cars poses a danger no matter what. So be aware, and if you do not feel 100% sure of the result, rather ask others to help you or double check what you have done, before you expose yourself and others to danger!
