Описание: Eidsfossen Power Station was built in the period spring 1915 – April 1917. It was to supply Røsvangen Mines with electricity.
The Røstvangen mines were closed down (bankruptcy), in 1921..
The power station supplied the surrounding area with electricity until the end of the 1950s.

With over 50 years of experience at Kvikne in Hedmark! Yes, then one should get more of the story... But no.. I feel that I have failed both myself and the story. Time to look back on history's many highs, and some of its great lows...
The Røstvangen mines were a part of both the two extremes!
Incredible to think that this is actually 100 years since one of the biggest bankruptcies in Norwegian history......
From the start-up in 1904 to the bankruptcy in 1921... a major investment took place in a few years.

This is a taste... I have to go back and feel the feelings from the past! That's something we should learn more from!

Med over 50 års fartstid på Kvikne i Hedmark! Ja da burde man fått med seg mer av historien... Men nei.. Jeg føler at jeg har sviktet både meg selv og historien. På tide å se til bake på historiens mange oppturer, og noen av denns store nedturer...
Røstvangen gruver var en en del av begge det to ytterpunktene!
Utrolig å tenke på at dette faktisk er 100 år siden en av norgeshistoriens største konkurser......
Fra oppstarten i 1904 til konkursen i 1921... det skjedde en stor satsing på få år.

Dette er en smakebit... Jeg må tilbake og kjenne på følelsene fra fortiden! Det er noe hær vi burde lære mer av!
