Some footage of searching and finding the almighty lake superior coho salmon on a top-notch river in the north shore area.
I had spent a week previously on a portaging trip, after conquering I had left to here to complete the Algoma trip journey. The goal was to spend some time swinging and spey casting flies for these specimens, which showed to be challenging but afterwards I was able to connect with hookups on the swing. This trip here involved 2 overnights hiking around 40km total, covering and searching a stretch of river rarely fished due to it's challenging access and rough trails.
