2017 has seen Indian metros take the title of cities with the worst air quality, with Delhi, the national capital, closing down schools and offices for a week. Dr. Sarath Guttikunda talks about what causes a worsening in air quality and how to deal with it ranging from green solutions to making diamonds from dust in the air. Dr. Sarath Guttikunda has worked with the Indian Metereological Society on prediction models and is one of the few scientists who also feature in comics.
