Scientists suspect that the diseases and injuries have transferred to the genes of Vietnamese people. The war also continues to cause more casualties because the US toxic bases have not been cleaned up.

The searing napalm or the horse-sized bombs dropped by the B-52 bombers were by far not the most diabolical weapons in the Vietnam war. Only after the war did it become clear that the herbicides sprayed by the US have remained to plague the Vietnamese for decades—if not for ever. That is why deaths and miscarriages are still more common in Vietnam than elsewhere. Babies without legs or arms, or with other deformities, are born in Vietnam even today. All having one thing in common: Agent Orange.
