In this video, my Italian mom shows my son and I how she makes Italian dried & fried peppers. My maternal grandma, Angie always had a bowl of these peppers at every Sunday Dinner and most other family gatherings. I wasn't a big fan of them as a child because i thought they tasted like burnt popcorn, but I love them now!
They are a great snack on their own with salt, but you can also fill them with cheese or use them as a chip replacement for dips (Great for Keto). Crush them up and use them as toppings on spaghetti, salads, fried eggs and more!
