Les Folies d'Espagne - is a tune used by numerous composers throughout history; which has inlluded also Vivaldi, CPE BACH, and many others [ including Michel Corrette] .
The tune has a very chromatic feel, with a very simple theme tune melody of several bars duration, and it is the followed by some 'variatons' on the theme.
Here transposed down to fit the Chalumeau [and its distinctive voice like low tonal sound] - are three of the Corrette variations on the tune. Transposed to G minor [ which adds to the character of the piece. ]
