Randonee to the second highest mountain in Norway, Glittertind, one day and to the neighbouring peak Ryggjehøe the next day.
This adventure was arranged by the hosts of Glitterheim cabin and DNT (The Norwegian Trekking Association). We had good guiding from local guides, Ivar, Ingrid and Torgeir, who had been to the summits many times before.
I highly recommend this arrangement, with the transport, accomodation, food and the randonee. It is normally set up several times during the winter, but this was the last time for 2025 - in the Easter from April 18th to 20th.
We had less snow than normal for April, so we had to skip Nautgardstind that was planned for the second day, but Ryggjehøe was an excellent alternative.
