The Geologic Oddity in Madagascar; The Tsingy Stone Forest

Описание: Within Madagascar are a series of needle like stone pillars which tower from the ground up to heights of 100 meters or 328 feet. These features represent a type of karst terrain which is referred to as "Tsingy". Yet, Tsingy is the name of two separate and geologically distinct features; the gray Tsingy and Tsingy Rouge. This video will discuss how both of these geologoc oddities formed.
