I headed to Moss Lane for this National League clash as league leaders Rochdale AFC took on 15th-placed Altrincham FC, with the contrast in league positions setting the scene for an intriguing night.

As kick-off approached, the atmosphere really began to heat up, with both sets of supporters in fine voice and anticipation building around the ground.
