In this review & demo I run the EP Booster into my EVH Gear EVH 5150III 100 watt head. I demo several clean and dirty sounds with it to show the boost and clarity it adds to the overall sound.

Based upon the preamp section of the Echoplex EP-3 (one of Eddie's favourite pieces of gear) the EP Booster will be a welcomed and must have pedal on your board. Especially if you are after the brown sound that we all chase our entire lives.

Using the highest quality parts available with a discrete FET design and low impedance output, the EP Booster provides up to +20dB of unadulterated boost with multi-dimensional, shimmering highs and lows, and no ear fatigue. The internal DIP switches let you choose the boost frequencies, and EQ settings. (I may demo the internal dip switches at a later date)

I highly recommend this pedal and it has now become the pedal that will remain engaged on my board, every time I play. My personal fav setting is gain at minimum, just serving as a slight boost, while acting as a buffer.
