Al Copeland grew up in the projects in New Orleans and went on to have extreme wealth when his chicken restaurant became wildly successful in the 70s and 80s. Al used his money on A BUNCH OF CRAZY STUFF like powerboats, and Christmas lights, and even an attempted Papal indulgence. He also got into a war of words with Vampire Chronicles author Anne Rice.
