Avoid Them | Romans 16 - Lesson 1

Описание: Most faithful Christians understand the principle of avoiding fellowship with unsaved people who promote beliefs which are not in accord with the faith of Jesus Christ and who practice habits which are contrary to the word of God. But what is a Christian to do when unbiblical beliefs are held and unbiblical behaviors are practiced by professing Christians? Should a Christian cultivate relationships with other Christians when it is obvious that they are going down a path that is clearly in violation of God's word? Or, as the Lord asked, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3). In a time when compromising Christianity is so prevalent among professing believers, this message serves as a stark reminder that God is very serious about the unity of believers but not at the expense of the truth. In Romans Chapter 16, the final chapter in this epistle, Pastor James Knox details how the Lord wants us to keep the doctrine of Christ first and foremost in our hearts even if it means avoiding fellowship with other Christians who have chosen to not do so lest they should draw us away from the truth and the practice of God's word.
