As promised by the MTA, the G line’s infrastructure is being comprehensively modernized! Thanks to recent capital investments, R211Ts have entered service on the G line, starting on March 4th, 2025. These R211Ts are prototype cars which have open gangways, allowing passengers to easily move from one car to the next! In addition to the 20 R211T prototype cars already in service on the G and C lines, an additional 80 R211T cars have been ordered by the MTA. Enjoy this look at a historic advancement in G line service quality and performance!
