SocioTechBBL Nama Soccer in the Northern Cape

Описание: The community of Pella and Onseepkans in the Northern Cape has come together to motivate and uplift the youth in their communities through soccer. A love for soccer, healthy lifestyles and each other was created. Through sport, the Broad Based Livelihoods programmes from SocioTech inspires individuals to aspire to more and a sense of self motivation is established - if you want to achieve more you have to do more.
The Broad-Based Livelihoods programme (BBL) is a mature social and economic development initiative with a rich history, spanning several decades, of enabling tens of thousands of families across hundreds of villages in eight provinces of South Africa with new hope and practical self-help avenues to independent personal economic activity. The BBL guides the individual to discover their God-given talents and capabilities, and to carve out ways to structure their interests into wealth-building activities, right where they are, with what they have.

Soccer in Onseepkans is a platform where BBL participants can come together to enjoy soccer and support each other, to market and sell their produce to stimulate economic activity and it inspires young people to live healthy lifestyles and take control of their futures.
