After social media reports flashed indicating the disappearance of three men (residents of Amshipura) from Rajauri, the Indian army initiated a probe into the matter where the troops claimed that three terrorists were killed by them in an encounter that happened on 18th July 2020. It was found that the troops violated their powers under the AFSPA act. The probe was concluded in four weeks, as per the reports.
