Today we’re making a big, bubbling dish of Italian Stuffed Shell Bake — tender pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta, with seasoned ground beef and ground Italian sausage layered on the bottom, and topped with rich marinara and plenty of melted cheese.
This is the kind of meal that’s perfect for Sunday dinner, family gatherings, or when you just want something warm and comforting straight from the oven.

Stuffed Shells
Filling:
Jumbo Shells
16 oz shredded mozzarella
8 oz shredded Parmesan
15 oz Ricotta cheese
1tsp garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, oregano seasoning, parsley
1 tbsp basil
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Sauce
1/2 pound of sweet Italian sausage
1/2 pound ground beef
Olive oil
1 chopped onion
1 tbsp garlic
1 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, oregano, parsley, basil
32 oz tomatoes
*Can substitute with spaghetti or marinara sauce*
Cook jumbo shells al dente, set aside and mix filling. Sautéed onions until tender add garlic for a minute then brown meat and add seasoning and tomatoes allow to simmer to thicken up. Stuff shells with cheese mix, pour sauce in bottom of casserole dish, then add stuffed shells on top, then cover with sauce and cheese, sprinkle with basil and oregano and bake at 375° until bubbly about 25-30 min
Serve it with garlic bread and a simple salad, and you’ve got supper handled.
