My clip isn't exactly identical to the one shown in your video, it has screws below the lens and its model number is SDMX28.

I made the images on Arch Linux, but of course any Linux distro will do. The command used to create the files was: sudo dd if=/dev/sdX of=fw-english.img bs=512 count=239616 status=progress (substitute the X for the letter Linux gives your Sansa). The images can then be restored with sudo dd if=fw-english.img of=/dev/sdX status=progress"

I've done this exact mod before on the older clip sport plus but when the clip sport go came out I wondered if it was still possible or if Sandisk made changes to prevent it. Well it seems like I'm the only one wondering as there are basically no mod videos for the go on youtube so let me be the first to do it!

TLDR I've actually done this mod on my go quite awhile ago but lost the footage. Luckily I've recently run out of room on my go so looks like I need to upgrade once again so I figured I'd show how to open this model. If it's something there's enough interest in and I earn enough off this video then I'll grab one of the new 2TB cards and test if this little nugget can handle the powah!
