RRB NTPC Results: Protesting Students Allegedly Set Passenger Train On Fire In Bihar’s Arrah

Описание: A passenger train was set on fire in Arrah district of Bihar allegedly by students protesting against irregularities in the results of recruitment examination held by the Railways. The passengers had reportedly disembarked from the train and no injuries were reported. The train was headed for Sasaram. Local officials and fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. n Patna, police fired tear gas shells and used water cannon to disperse agitating students. The students were also lathi-charged on Monday in Patna. Several FIRs were lodged against students and some were taken into custody. The protest has seen several students take to the streets leading to road blockades and traffic jams. The protesting students have alleged irregularities in the results of the 2021 Railway Recruitment Board’s Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC) examination. The results of the RRB NTPC for CBT-1 exam was released on January 15 for shortlisting the candidates for the CBT-2.
