The Lexus SC400 is a supra chassis, a very underrated car and one of my favorites. Though with any car there is the good and the bad. I may have missed some things in the video so I will go over the most important ones. Timing belt, being an interference engine you don't want it to have a failure. The power steering pump leaking, which then goes right onto your alternator. The fluid fan is a poor design, and the ecu can have issues.The door seals leak and the floor will get wet and that's where the ecu lives. They can have idle issues and the idle air control valve gets sticky. As mentioned in the video the sunroof drains leak into the trunk and can create rust. The door handle clips break due to age, and the door can saag even with the massive hinges. The dash lights go out along with the climate control screen. The speedometer and gas gauge can also quit working but overall the 1UZ-FE V8 is an all aluminum block and a legendary motor. Designed by Yamaha and Toyota they over engineered it. Even with its flaws, I would recommend this car to anyone.
