Since its return in 2025 Polymarket (an online cryptocurrency based betting platform self-styling as a 'prediction market') has left people asking a series of questions, including:
1. Are 'prediction markets' legitimate?
2. Can I make money from Polymarket?
3. Should we tolerate Polymarket?
4. Is Polymarket 'moral'?
This video seeks to try to answer some of those questions and more by addressing who is actually 'winning' from Polymarket, including both the financial and mental-health related costs of using an app where most people lose.
This was my first video! I will likely aim to make another addressing finance / pop-culture topics in the future, but regardless I hope it was educational!
