This is the extremely popular 500 series Shinkansen, which was also modeled when it was first released in 1991.
While running at a top speed of 300 km/h at the time, its quietness was also improved. The nose design was inspired by the kingfisher, and the pantograph features serrations based on the feathers of an owl.
It is running again on the Sanyo Shinkansen, but it has been decided to be retired in 2027.
