The crisis is not confined to cities; residents from villages around Nabha and other parts of the district were also seen scrambling to get their cylinders refilled.
Outside several gas agencies, anxious residents gathered in the hope of securing cylinders but many had to return home disappointed. Several villagers from areas around Nabha said they had only a single domestic cylinder and had come for refilling.
