When You Make It Yourself, You Can Customize the Design and Materials To Fit Your Needs.

Here’s a Step-by-Step Guide on How To Make a Simple Spoon-Style Drone Fishing Lure:

Materials You’ll Need:
Metal Spoon Blank or Aluminum Sheet (or a Similar Metal Like Brass or Stainless Steel) –This Will Serve As the Main Body of the Lure. I Made It From Expired Vehicle Number Plates. ( Strong, Cheap, Rust-Proof, and Easy To Shape 😅 ).
Fishing Hooks – Usually a Treble Hook or a Single Hook.
Paint or Markers (Optional) – To Add Color and Patterns to Your Spoon.
Drill (for Hole-Making)
Pliers (for Shaping)
Split Rings – To Attach Hooks or Other Accessories.
Eyelets or Split Rings – for Attaching to the Fishing Line.
Sandpaper or File – To Smooth the Edges of Your Spoon.
Epoxy or Strong Glue (Optional) – To Secure Any Parts if Needed.

Instructions:
Step 1: Shape the Spoon
If You’re Using a Metal Spoon Blank: You Can Skip This Part. If Not,Take a Small Piece of Aluminum or Brass and Cut It Into the Shape of a Spoon. The Typical Shape Is a Teardrop, With a Rounded, Slightly Bent Edge.
Shape It for Action: The More Curve or Bend the Spoon Has, The More It Will Wobble or Flutter in the Water. Use Pliers or a Hammer To Gently Bend the Metal Spoon Into a Concave Shape,
Which Helps Create the “Swimming” Motion.

Step 2: Sand and Smooth the Edges
Use Sandpaper or a File To Smooth the Edges of the Spoon. Sharp Edges Can Cause the Spoon To Have an Erratic Action in the Water, So Make Sure It’s Smooth and Even.

Step 3: Add a Hole for Attachment
Drill a Small Hole at the Narrow End of the Spoon. This Hole Is for Attaching The Eyelet or Split Ring That Will Connect the Lure to Your Fishing Line.
Optionally, You Can Add Another Hole Near the Middle or Bottom of the Spoon If You Plan To Attach Multiple Hooks or Additional Features (Like a Weight).

Step 4: Attach Hooks
Use a Split Ring or Directly Attach a Treble Hook to the Bottom or Rear of the Spoon. This Will Serve As the Point Where the Fish Will Bite.
For Additional Weight or a More Complicated Design, You Could Use Multiple Hooks Or Even a Stinger Hook To Increase Your Chances of Hooking the Fish.

Step 5: Paint and Customize
If You Want To Make Your Lure More Eye-Catching, You Can Use Waterproof Paint To Add Color.
Many Anglers Choose Patterns Like Silver, Gold, or Colorful Stripes. You Can Also Use Glow-in-the-Dark Paint for Low-Light Fishing Conditions.
Let the Paint Dry Completely Before Moving to the Next Step.

Step 6: Add the Eyelet or Split Ring
Attach the Eyelet or Split Ring to the Hole You Drilled in Step 3. This Is Where You’ll Connect Your Fishing Line or Leader Line. Make Sure It’s Securely Fastened, As This Is the Part That Will Bear
The Weight of the Lure in the Water.

Step 7: Test and Adjust
Once You’ve Completed Your Lure, Take It to the Water and Test How It Moves. You Might Need To Adjust the Curve of the Spoon Slightly To Get the Desired Action.
You Can Also Experiment With Adding Weight Near the Front or Back To Change How the Lure Swims.

Additional Tips:
Weighting: If Your Spoon Doesn’t Sink Fast Enough, You Can Add a Small Weight Near the Front (or Inside the Body) of the Spoon To Help It Sink Quicker.
Hook Placement: Some Anglers Prefer To Place a Hook in the Middle of the Spoon Or Towards the Back for Different Fish-Catching Techniques.
