The United Schools Organisation of India (USO) proudly celebrated its Founders’ Day, marking a remarkable journey of enriching education beyond the classroom since 1951. This milestone stands as a tribute to decades of vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to meaningful education.
The celebration brought together our Chief Guest, Shri Gajainder Singh Yadav, Hon’ble MLA, Mehrauli, along with esteemed USO Executive Council Members, dedicated USO staff, the vibrant children of the USO Co-Action Learning Centre, and the extended USO family, all united in honouring a legacy built on purpose, service, and impact.

About USO Co-Action Learning Centre
A highlight of the occasion was the enthusiastic participation of students from the USO Co-Action Learning Centre (CLC). Established in February 1992, the Centre has been serving as an Open Literacy Centre for underprivileged communities in East Delhi. Catering to nearly 5,000 residents, it provides non-formal education for children and vocational training for women, fostering empowerment, self-reliance, and overall well-being. The Centre also hosts a variety of educational and community-focused activities that continue to uplift and support local residents.
This year’s Founders’ Day celebration was made even more special by being streamed live nationally on YouTube, allowing members of the USO community from across India to come together virtually and be part of this historic milestone.

As USO celebrates 75 years of impact, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing young minds, empowering educators, and building a more informed, inclusive, and equitable society through education.
