The Return of the Jeep
On Sunday 14th June 2015 the RPSIs LMS NCC WT Class 2-6-4 number 4 returned to the mainline following overhaul.
In this video we will see No.4 at Carrickfergus on a light engine test run from Whitehead to Carrickfergus.
After the light engine test was deemed successful No.4 was then coupled to the Mk2s and run a 2nd test to Belfast Central.
Next we see No.4 working hard as she climbs the bank at Trooperslane while en route to Belfast Central.
And finally we see No.4 at Greenisland with the last test run of the day to Whitehead.
Well done to all of the RPSI Volunteers who worked hard to get this beautiful loco back on the mainline.
This was No.4s first mainline run since 2011.
